Encouragement Malnutrition

November 1, 2011

Do you lead people? Are you looking for more leaders/influencers?

The cheapest, easiest way to empower the people around you is to sincerely encourage them . . . often.

There are many potential leaders/influencers around us who suffer from encouragement malnutrition.

Let me invite you to take the “encouragement challenge” today. It’s simple. It’s helpful. It’s powerful.

  1. Thank someone who has encouraged you in the past
  2. Look for someone you can encourage today
  3. Refuse to speak words that discourage

Then do it again tomorrow. See what it does for your perspective.

    • Thanks Marilyn! The people who’ve commented to me about this post are all big encouragers. You’re at the top of that list! Appreciate you so much Marilyn.
