Really? Pt 3

October 25, 2012

Do you believe you have an actual relationship with God? If so, I’m guessing you’d say it’s the most important relationship you have.

If it’s the most important relationship you have, how are you developing it?

That’s it. Would love to hear what you’re thinking.

  1. Learning to trust through the trials and temptations, He is the One developing it. He leads the dance and I follow.

For me it is learning to trust … one mistake at a time. I find it amazing how in retrospect the promise of Romans 8:28 is so true. Looking back I can see how the Lord has grown me the greatest during times of trials. In fact, there is nothing I value highly in my life, be it material things, character traits, or faith, which did not come with a price. The journey of a disciple of Christ is not for the timid. He even warns that if the persecute me how much more will they persecute you as my follower. Our joy as believers can only be complete if we are obedient to our calling. Fortunately we don’t have to go this task alone. We have the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to show the way and by God’s Grace someday I will hear those word, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
